Water is not actually poured into the 'breathing passages' you effing moron, it's a technique that is designed to make someone feel like they're drowning, even though they are not. No one has ever died from waterboarding. And in some types of military training, our own soldiers are waterboarded, to help them learn how to cope with enemy interrogation techniques.
If you don't know what you're talking about, please STFU.
pussies- it is not tortue. its a mind fuck. and all these dudes that bitch.. anyone.. anyone thats walking down the street would be tortured ridiculous status if a terrorist group wanted to just for being american. we only do it to people we think might be terroist... making more ahhaha.... still not torture
Waterboarding is a form of torture that consists of immobilizing the victim on his or her back with the head inclined downwards, and then pouring water over the face and into the breathing passages. By forced suffocation and inhalation of water, the subject experiences drowning and is caused to believe they are about to die. Why anyone would want to do this is just plain retarded, freakin weirdos.
This might give you some idea.

Guy still has nightmares about it and it was a controlled experiment.
so awesome. and for the questioners, urban dictionary. that way you don't sound like a COMPLETE idiot(you obviously know how to work the internet?, use it
I actually tried it the other day. It's an experience. Just be safe, make sure you have control of when to stop. I know that's not real waterboarding if you have a say in when it ends, but it's the closest you can get while being safe.
I have a video of my friend waterboarding himself. He immediately agreed that it was torture and said he'd never do it again. Unless he really needed to get the truth out of himself.
