  • You're an idiot. Its not fake bc of the dates. Mardi Gras is celebrated for a couple of weeks before and a couple after. This weekend is the huge kickoff for Mardi Gras. It's always like that the weekend before the actual day. So, your date comment is ignorant.

    • It's not celebrated after. That's what tourist don't get, it's not a year long thing once it's over we stop celebrating it til the next Mardi Gras season starts (Jan 6-Mardi Gras day).
