Clearly none of you know what you're talking about. Klonopin and xanax are 2 different brand names for 2 different drugs in the same classification. They're prescribed for different reasons, and on the streets generics and brand names go for the same price anyway unless you're getting ripped off.

generic has the same active compound but is produced by rival companies after the original has come off patent. this means they can massively undercut the bigpharma as they have no development costs to cover. so it's a bargain. think Viagra vs Kamagra. same shit 70% discount :)

Klonopin is clonazepam and Xanax is alprazolam. Both different drugs, but the same drug class, benzos. They're equally potent no matter what you hear the pharmachemistry backs it up 2mg klonopin is the same potency as a 2nd Xanax bar, but the high is different in duration and intensity
